Art Exhibition
This August we are hosting an art exhibition of art therapy graduate work from the University of Hertfordshire. The exhibition will be open from Wednesday 9th (Preview Night) to Tuesday 16th August. Visits to see the show are by arrangement. See more details.

Open Morning
On Saturday 13 August we are having an Open Morning from 10:30-1:00pm and everyone is invited. This will be an opportunity to see the artwork as well as visit the centre.

Private Practitioners Special Interest Group
In the afternoon on 13.08.2011 there is a meeting of the Private Practitioners’ Special Interest Group (SIG) which is open to art therapists in private practice and those considering this route. As many art therapy posts are now under review this is a useful meeting to consider other ways to work as an art therapist.

Art Therapy in India
Hephzibah Kaplan of the London Art Therapy Centre will be travelling to India at the end of August. She will be accompanying her husband, Dr Brian Kaplan on a book tour for his book, The Homeopathic Conversation. The tour encompasses Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur and Hephzibah will be running art therapy workshops in each location to complement Brian’s teaching.

Art Therapy and Dementia Workshop
In September the London Art Therapy Centre will be running a workshop at University College for clients with dementia.

New Volunteer
We welcome our new volunteer Reema Ved who has a Masters in Health Psychology. Reema is in the office on Mondays and Thursdays and will be coordinating courses and doing research.

Art Therapy Space
We have availability in the studio and 1:1 room for art therapists and/or supervisors registered for private practice. Please contact Hephzibah for times and costs.
