We are delighted to let you know about a new series of talks we shall be hosting once a month at London Art Therapy Centre in Kings Cross.
Each month there is a different theme and this is open to all interested parties (in contrast to our CPD workshops and trainings which are just open for therapists and trainees).
The aim of the Sunday Salon is to have meaningful and useful conversations around therapy and the creative processes in a broader sense.
Timing:
2.30 pm-5.00pm for tea and crumpets, talk and discussion. Please don’t be late.
Note: There is a maximum of 20 places available and if you cannot get a seat for the event you want, please email info@arttherapycentre.com as we may repeat the event if sold out.
Price per Salon:
£18 + Eventbrite processing fee + eventbrite VAT

15 Oct – 21st Century Supervision
Did you train as a therapist in the 20th Century and are now supervising therapists trained in the 21st Century? Perhaps you trained more recently and are offering supervision via Zoom. Are you finding the training and social climate has changed and your supervision needs a different approach? Join our guest, art therapist Pippa Michaels to reflect and discover the different themes emerging in 21st-century supervision.
19 Nov – The Creative Writing Process for Therapists
Have you written a book, would like to write a book, and would like to hear more about the creative collaborative process?
Join Pia Jones and Sarah Pimenta (author and illustrator), Hephzibah Kaplan (co-writing), and James West, editor, to discuss the process, reflect on ideas and offer guidance.
Our guest presenters will have their books available for sale.
10 Dec – The Magic of Art Therapy: Transpersonal Art Therapy, Magic and Mulled Wine
Our seasonal series will end with a gathering to share stories of synchronicity and symbols in art therapy. We shall be joined by the lovely Ady Lloyd, a Mindfulness teacher and magician. Ady will be part of our discussion and also enchant us with some of his magic.
All served with minced pies and mulled wine!
