This is a structured small professional group based around key themes experienced when starting up and developing private practice. Meeting monthly, the course is aimed at professional development and will include art-making as well as ongoing mentoring.
The monthly sessions will enable practitioners to develop their skills, confidence and infrastructure, prior to, or alongside the establishment of their private practice. All key areas will be covered including the referral process, clinical accountability, working with multi-disciplinary colleagues, legal and accounting requirements, fees, supervision and support.
Facilitators:
Gary Nash, MA, has over twenty years of experience working in adult mental health services, dual diagnosis and homelessness in West London. He is a BAAT registered Supervisor and Registered private practitioner with over 10 years experience.
Hephzibah Kaplan has been practising art therapy in Harley Street since 1999. An experienced BAAT Registered private practitioner and Supervisor, she offers many years clinical experience across different settings and organisations.

The first meeting will be an introduction evening to be held on Wednesday 15th October 2104 from 7-9pm. The fee for this event is £50 which will be deducted from the course fee if you chose to join the programme.
Dates:
The 8 sessions for 2014-5 are: 15 Oct; 12 Nov; 10 Dec; 14 Jan; 11 Feb; 11 Mar; 8 Apr; 22 Apr.
Course fees:
£380 for a 6 month programme of eight x 2 hr workshops on Wednesday evenings 7-9pm beginning on 15th October 2014.
