4 Sept 2020 | 1:15 – 3pm | Online Art Therapy Workshop: Possessions: Collecting, Saving, Treasuring & Hoarding

In this workshop, we will begin to explore our relationships with what we own; our attachment to possessions and the possible meanings for us – using art-marking. You don’t need to be ‘good at art’ to attend.

Although this is a stand-alone workshop, it is hoped that anyone struggling with issues around hoarding may feel encouraged to join our weekly art therapy group starting online on 11 September, and transitioning to the centre in Kings Cross when safe to do so (Covid-dependent) Therefore, 80% of the places will be reserved for people based in London.

You will need a quiet, private space; pencil, paper, some coloured pencils and/or felt pens, as well as any other art materials you may have.
This workshop is available free to all, sponsored by Notting Hill Genesis Housing Association.
Facilitators:

Taylor Smart and Frances Walton are HCPC & BAAT registered Art Psychotherapists; both experienced working with people who have struggled with hoarding issues.
