This workshop will consider the concept of the ‘frame’ as the totality of those elements of the therapist’s approach to the client that introduce and establish the specific nature of the therapeutic relationship. Work at the level of the frame often comprises a major part of the art psychotherapist’s work with profoundly disturbed individuals before image making and images can acquire symbolic meaning within the relationship.
