25 Nov 2017 | Day Workshop | Alchemy of Working with Psychosis
The aim of this workshop is to develop understanding of the nature of psychosis and of specific potentials in the art therapy setting for engaging and working with psychotic states of mind. There will be a talk, a clinical seminar in which participants can discuss case material, and a workshop using art materials.
The nature of the therapeutic frame, the boundaries of the therapeutic relationship, the transference and countertransference field, and the therapist’s internal work, will be considered in relation to the work of facilitating transformative experience in psychosis.
