Swedish Massage with Benita Jelf MCMA MGHT
Swedish massage involves deep pressure and a variety of intensive massage techniques such as kneading, tapping and stroking, applying pressure to your muscles in movements that are in tune with the natural flow of blood back to your heart. It promotes relaxation and benefits all systems in the body including: easing muscular strain by flushing out toxins aiding digestion, waste removal and neural communication, improving circulation by increasing oxygen flow in the blood, and helping to keep ligaments and tendons supple which helps increase flexibility, enhances tissue elasticity and reduces pain, stimulating the skin and nervous system whilst soothing the nerves and therefore reducing emotional and physical stress. In short, Swedish massage feels good, is relaxing and invigorating and is a wonderful way to promote both physical and emotional well-being!
Yoga Therapy with Lizzi Luminati UKCP PRYT
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is akin to receiving a yoga class with all the benefits and none of the strain. Through assisted yoga postures and a dialogue process if desired, you are encouraged to be in the present moment of sensations, thoughts, emotions and memories, as you are gently stretched and moved. In essence it is a deeply relaxing body work out with the potential to explore the body’s unconscious through the dialogue process if desired. All you have to do is experience each sensation, each movement and attune to yourself through focused breathing. A series of sessions are often most helpful, however, profound change has been known to occur in a single session and the recipient always leaves feeling relaxed and renewed, both physically and mentally.
Head Massage with Ellen Wade UKCP MAR
The Indian Head Massage is based on the traditional form of Champi (head massage) practised in India for over 1,000 years. It is a wonderfully relaxing therapy that can be tailored for invigoration. A treatment can include massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears and energy balancing – and is adjusted to your tastes and requirements. The massage is safe and simple, without the need to undress or use oils. However specially blended aromatic oils for hair or face are available to deepen the treatment and enhance the feeling of sensuality and decadence. Head Massage can provide relief from aches and pains, stress symptoms, insomnia and promote healthy hair growth. In addition it can soothe, comfort, and rebalance your energy flow, providing you with a much needed sense of peace, deep calm and mental clarity.
Reflexology with Ellen Wade UKCP MAR
Reflexology is a subtle yet powerful treatment focussed on bringing harmony, equilibrium and a profound sense of well-being to the body and mind. The organs, nerves, glands and other parts of the body are connected to what are known as reflex points on the feet and hands. By stimulating these areas, using a gentle pressure, a direct response is created in the related body part. This stimulates the body’s natural healing, facilitates vital energy and helps to boost the immune system. Reflexology creates a stronger body and calmer mind. The feet are most commonly worked on in reflexology, and since the foot maps out the entire body, this treatment is non-invasive whilst simultaneously working deeply with the body as a whole. Focussing on the feet not only grounds you but offers a chance for your often neglected and hard working feet to get some well-deserved pampering!
We look forward to supporting you to relax, enjoy and recuperate…
