A dynamic day of provocation, laughter and learning. Provocative therapy is the clinical use of reverse psychology and humour. In this workshop Dr Brian Kaplan, medical doctor and provocative therapist, will demonstrate ways in which humour can be used in the therapeutic frame to aid the client work. Using images painted in the morning session to enable the creative flow, you can learn how to integrate and use your sense of humour with clinical responsibility and therapeutic focus.
Facilitators:
Dr. Brian Kaplan MBBCh, President, British Institute of Provocative Therapy. A medical doctor and author, Brian has been practising this dynamic form of psychotherapy since 1996. He teaches and lectures internationally and in the media on the relationship between health and humour.
Hephzibah Kaplan. Director, London Art Therapy Centre, learnt and continues to learn Provocative Therapy as a useful and selective approach in her practice.
