8 Feb 2025 | An Inner Journey with Clay 2 | Day Workshop | In-Person

Working with clay is not a solitary pursuit; it is a dialogue. It is grounding, messy, mirroring, fun, freeing and helps us to see the world differently!
This experiential workshop is especially intended for therapists who want to explore the possibilities and depths of working with clay in the clinical setting.
Throughout the day we will focus on communication with the material. There will be time for observation and space for reflection on the clinical application of working with clay.
The emphasis of this session is to experiment with planes, points and edges; dissonance and direction:
- Why do we make them?
- Where do they lead us?
- How can the experience of making them enlighten our clients and us?
- How do we enable our clients to understand their inner processes through observation of their work?
- Can the use of clay stimulate our clients to make the changes they are seeking?
Please bring your questions.
You will need a notebook in order to record your process, old clothes or an apron or overall and a small container or plastic bags if you want to take your work home.
“Thank you so much for such a wonderful, life affirming day. The workshop was the exact day I needed, for myself and my reconnection with myself as ‘therapist’. Thank you for your generosity in sharing and to the beautiful people who attended. A truly special day!”
