Eating and Body AwarenessThis on-going weekly art therapy group is for people who struggle with their relationship with food and how they feel about their body.

The difficult subject is treated sensitively through art making and verbal discussion, facilitated by two experienced art therapists, in a supportive framework with others concerned with similar issues. No prior experience is necessary but a willingness to explore ideas creatively is key.

    1. to improve your relationship with food and eating
    2. to feel more connected to – and comfortable with – your body
    3. to gather inner resources in order to bring about positive changes in your life
    4. to find safe ways to explore emotion and express feeling

Participants will have developed a deeper understanding of themselves and some will feel adequately equipped to effect change. Others may want to join an ongoing group for further support or embark on 1:1 therapy to explore underlying issues at greater depth.

Maximum 10 participants

Facilitators: Jane Landes and Emma Franks
