Leap of Faith - by Hephzibah KaplanA unique one-day workshop aimed at provoking you to get what you want out of life. Art therapy and Provocative therapy (based on the work of Frank Farrelly) combine in a high-energy blend aimed to elicit ‘Aha’ moments.

Life is far too important a matter ever to talk seriously about it.
(Oscar Wilde)

Humour and laughter is often cast as a defence mechanism, having a small, sometimes non-speaking part in the psychotherapy process. In this workshop the facilitators introduce a model of working effectively, safely and compassionately with humour and reverse psychology in the therapeutic container.

Learning through the experience, and using approaches in art therapy to generate images, participants will be therapeutically provoked to experience Aha! Moments in powerful, brief Provocative Therapy modules.

You will be able to take your artwork home with you at the end of the day and Provocative Therapy sessions can be recorded on DVD for later viewing (on request).

Facilitator/s:
Dr. Brian Kaplan MBBCh, President, British Institute of Provocative Therapy. A medical doctor and author, Brian has been practising this dynamic form of psychotherapy since 1996. He teaches and lectures internationally and in the media on the relationship between health and humour.

Hephzibah Kaplan. Director, London Art Therapy Centre, learnt and continues to learn Provocative Therapy as a useful and selective approach in her practice.

I feel like a load has been lifted from my shoulders and my eyes opened by your wonderful humour and insights today…. I am totally overwhelmed by how much I learnt about myself as well as the fantastic tools I learnt in the provocative therapy session.  I found the work we did today very helpful on the path to my own personal development.  You took my breath away… — Amanda Rockwell, Managing Director, Corporate Calm Ltd
